JAC T9 to launch in NZ

The top-of-the-line JAC T9 arrives with a 5 Star ANCAP Safety Rating, a full suite of safety systems, as well as performance and comfort features

Designed for the toughest environments, and with an impressive track record and sales pedigree in South Africa and Australia, more than 300,000 JAC utes have already proven themselves after rolling out of the state-of-the-art factory in China, the manufacturer says.

“We’ve had the JAC T9 ute four-wheel driving through a range of Kiwi terrain for months already, including snow, mud, sand, metal, river crossings, and more. We even put it through the toughest test for any new New Zealand vehicle — a long road trip with Kiwi kids in the back,” says JAC general manager, Andrew Craw.

The team behind JAC in New Zealand has recently expanded its nationwide dealer network, which has supported Kiwis in automotive for more than 100 years,

“Our goal for JAC was to be able to provide Kiwis with support up and down the country. We’ve already had nationwide servicing coverage for our light trucks through our Southpac network and our existing two sales locations, so adding nine new full dealerships from the Colonial Motor Company (CMC) network is another milestone for the brand.”

The new locations will include New Plymouth, Pukekohe, Masterton, Lower Hutt, Kāpiti, Timaru, Dunedin, Invercargill, and Queenstown, complementing the existing two dealerships in Manukau and Christchurch.
