JAC New Zealand has become a major sponsor of this year's Fieldays as it introduces its range-topping ute to the market
A handshake and a pie have sealed a new deal between Fieldays and JAC, with the automotive brand on board as a major sponsor of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event.
The relationship has been described as an exciting milestone as JAC introduces its ‘top-of-the-line’ T9 4WD double-cab ute to the market, joining its fleet of 100% EV and Cummins Diesel trucks.
“We are really excited to have JAC onboard and help them showcase a ute that has been built with truck DNA to the New Zealand market at Fieldays,” says Richard Lindroos, CEO, New Zealand National Fieldays Society.
The alignment with Fieldays underscores JAC’s ambition to establish itself as a key player in the ute sector.
“We’re stoked to be getting behind Kiwis and supporting the team at Fieldays,” says JAC NZ general manager Andrew Craw.
“Before launching the T9 here we’ve been putting it through its paces both on and off New Zealand roads. It’s also officially New Zealand’s safest ute with its 5-star ANCAP score. It even has dedicated spot to keep your pie warm or your drinks cool.”
To celebrate the partnership, every Friday throughout May, JAC and Fieldays will be parking up in locations around the Waikato to show off the JAC T9, with Pie Day Friday locations announced on social media, encouraging the public to drop by and grab a free pie.
“We’re looking forward to kicking off Pie Day Friday. The pies are on us, and we’ve got some Fieldays tickets to give away too.”
Along with its range of trucks, the new JAC T9 utes will be on display at Fieldays and those scanning their registered Fieldays Smart Band will be entered in the draw to win a JAC T9 complete with a tow bar.
