Being one of New Zealand’s largest commercial deconstruction companies, Trow Group is an industry expert and believes there’s huge value in supporting a circular economy. The business delivers full project, life cycle services through salvaging and recycling thousands of tonnes of construction materials every year.

“We felt Trow Group was an ideal business to partner with, as their ethos of reducing the stream to landfills of useable waste fits perfectly with our recycling machinery that’s designed to reduce the impact of waste on the environment,” says Catrina Quinn MSC marketing manager.

The day-long event featured an on-site area that housed live demos showcasing Terex Ecotec and EvoQuip equipment, headlined by a Terex Ecotec TDS 820 Slow Speed Shredder—supplied by MSC—processing a selection of feed materials, including domestic waste, green waste, and wood waste.

Other MSC-supplied machines were the TC65 tracked conveyor (also being demonstrated) and the Colt 1600 scalping screen and Cobra 230 impact crusher that were on static display.
The TDS 820 is purpose-built to process all types of material, whether it be domestic, industrial, or bulky waste. The TC65 is a self-powered 65-feet (19.8-metre) tracked stockpiler with impressive features and conveying capacities of up to 500 tonnes per hour, MSC says.
