From OSA demolition tools and Xcentric crusher buckets through to Antraquip milling heads, Boss Attachments says they can deliver a range of concrete crushing solutions
“During the last decade these brands have made a massive impression with clients throughout New Zealand,” says Paul Herbison of Boss.
“OSA is recognised as the benchmark for demolition equipment and their world-leading range of demolition attachments is the brand of choice when it comes to the demolition of concrete structures and the processing of concrete, demolition of steel structures, scrap yard processing and demolition handling equipment.”
Customers like Timpany Landfill, who operate OSA FPV20 pulverisers, have nothing but praise for the attachment‘s performance.
“The OSA FPV smashes concrete big time,” says Steve Timpany. “These heads are really well made, and it has added an extra dimension to our overall business capabilities.”
An FPV unit is also being used at the Eastland Port’s Wharf Seven and slipway rebuild project.
“The FPV 30 is a beast of a crusher head, and we’re really happy with both the performance and quality of the clean fill being produced,” says project manager for the Eastlands Port rebuild project, Rod Blake. “As well as recycling concrete sourced from the original wharf, this project will also recycle concrete feedstock from adjacent demolition sites.”
The FPV Pulveriser Series is said to be truly ground-breaking and has been designed to deliver increased production and performance for secondary demolition and recycling.
Featuring HARDOX structures, the FPV design also includes a reversed cylinder to protect the rod from accidental hits as well as an innovative pressure relief valve that protects the attachment from high pressure.
Operational productivity is maximised through the pulveriser’s regenerative capability that allows for fast idle movements and maximum strength thrusts within just seconds.
Since their introduction to the New Zealand market in 2016, Boss says clients have described Xcentic crusher buckets as game-changers with one also saying that his is the ‘best bloody attachment we’ve ever purchased.’
The same contractor also added that his Xcentric XC17 Crusher Bucket had delivered the biggest improvements in efficiency and productivity that he had ever seen.
Xcentric crusher buckets are designed to be in a class of their own and can deliver at least 35% greater production than conventional crusher buckets, say Boss. As well as increased production the buckets also provide additional benefits like reduced maintenance and lower operating costs.
Antraquip milling heads have been internationally proven in some of the most demanding environments and can handle materials of up to a uniaxial compressive strength of 220+mpa, say Boss. The versatile attachments can perform a number of functions including milling back concrete surfaces and can also be fitted with paddles to produce mudcrete.
“When it comes to unrivalled power and performance, as well as lower operating costs, our brands are proven winners – so talk to us today,” says Paul.
