The ASV RT-135 Forestry Max Series will soon be in NZ

Equipment distributor AdvanceQuip has announced that they will be launching the ASV RT-135 Forestry Max Series posi-track loader, with units now on order. Said to deliver 10% more power, the new model will feature a fuel tank 83.2-litre larger than the previous RT-120 model.

The RT-135 compact track loader is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-litre Cummins engine that produces 132hp (98.4kW) and 488Nm of torque. The machine has a rated operating capacity of 2427kg, adjustable track speed (up to 16km/h) and creep mode allowing RT-135 operators to boost their productivity.

"We’re looking forward to receiving the first units in New Zealand," says Colin Muir, AdvanceQuip general manager.

"It’s worth noting that ASV was the number-one selling compact tracked loader brand in 2020 and 2021 according to NZESA stat."

An operator roof escape hatch, heavy-duty brush guarding and auto-reverse fan come as standard. The 381mm of ground clearance will allow the RT-135 access on the varying terrain, the machine has been designed to operate on.

The RT-135 is fitted with ASV’s new Max-Series 360-degree visibility cab, which is said to give operators increased space, better ergonomics, and an upgraded HVAC system giving better air circulation.

The pressurised cab features a seven-inch (17.8cm) colour touchscreen that provides job management, operator passcode, service scheduling, as well as a USB and Bluetooth radio and standard connectivity ports.
