Manitou in conjunction with their dealer Endraulic Equipment has announced that the Manitou skid steer and track loader brand will replace the Mustang and Gehl brands in New Zealand.

"We are excited to supply these great-looking red and black loaders under such a well-known worldwide brand name," says Blair Sargison, sales manager at Endraulic Equipment.

The Manitou brand began in France in 1957 by Marcel Braud who designed what the company says is the first forklift truck for use in rough terrain. From there, the brand has become a well-known and respected manufacturer of machinery for the construction, agricultural, mining, and logistics industries.

Endraulic will be supplying a number of models to the industry, ranging in size from the 1814kg Manitou 1050R to the 3628kg Manitou 4200V in the skid steer range. These will sit alongside the track loaders, starting with the 680kg Manitou 1050RT through to the 1652kg 2550RT.

"We’re looking forward to showing customers the new models and features that are on these new Manitou loaders, which are now in stock," says Blair. Endraulic says that owners of Mustang and Gehl machines will still be able to source parts from the company.

"Customers can rest assured that the legendary power and reliability Mustang was known for remains the same. We will continue to support the Mustang and Gehl brands with parts and service," Blair says.
