FICA puts out invites for a yarn
FICA, along with Wood Council members, forest owners, and forest management companies will be holding the ‘share a yarn’ event at various venues around the country
The Forestry Industry Contractors Association (FICA), along with Wood Council members, forest owners, and forest management companies are running a series of informal-style meetings at various venues around the country.
The ‘share a yarn’ events, as they are calling them, will be covering topics such as contractor certification, promotion, Safetree Conference and AGM, silviculture subsidy, 50 Shades of Green, Rove, The Forest & Wood Processing Workforce Council, The ‘Bill’, collaboration of industry, recruitment campaigns, markets and info, and COVID-19 learnings.
With the recently introduced COVID-19 announcement and increase in alert levels, those interested in attending are advised to contact FICA first to ensure the events will be going ahead as scheduled.
