BKT MD inducted into TIA Hall of Fame 2018
Arvind Poddar, chairman and managing director of BKT, was announced as this year’s honouree for the TIA (Tire Industry Associations) Hall of Fame Award.
He will officially be inducted into the association’s Hall of Fame on 29 October 2018 at the Tire Industry Honors Awards ceremony at the Paris Las Vegas hotel.
"Without a doubt, this is a great moment and a great achievement for my personal development and my professional career," Arvind says. "It is also a confirmation of the passionate spirit and commitment that drives all our projects and all people in our company aiming at being an example for future generations."

The TIA Hall of Fame was started in 1985 and aims at honouring people from the industry for their outstanding accomplishments that have brought fame to the tyre, rubber, and transportation events. The award is TIA’s highest honour conferred upon members from the industry, be it manufacturers, inventors, suppliers, dealers, or retraders.
