Position Partners are the new distributors for RDS Technology industrial weighing systems; enabling the company to sell and support the industrial scales for New Zealand’s construction, mining and quarrying industries.
The previous distributor of 15 years Pat Dougherty, is now focussing on the RDS solutions for the agrigultural market and Position Partners have taken up the RDS product range for the construction sector.

Former RDS Systems technical specialist Lochlan Hammond has joined the Position Partners team, and based out of Napier, will provide support to customers in the lower North Island and assist nationwide with his in-depth knowledge of the RDS range.
Position Partners say RDS on-board scales are designed to provide accurate weight information to operators and site managers by utilising an easy-to-read in-cab display and optional printer.
They say the company has a range of solutions available to suit wheel loaders, excavators, telehandlers and forklift trucks; the RDS technology systems being scalable, accurate and helping to reduce machine wear, fuel usage and wastage.
Loadmaster Alpha 100 loader scales help reduce wheel loader return trips
The flagship of the RDS range is the Loadmaster Alpha 100, having what Position Partners say is; dynamic weighing that maintains accuracy in rough terrain, on slopes and at speed, whilst compensating for oil temperature fluctuations throughout the day.
Customers also have the option of upgrading to a trade approved system, enabling transactions direct from the loader scales; along with additional options of a reversing camera. Critically, Position Partners say, is Loadmaster are one of the only systems on the market to offer flexible interface to other software platforms, machine types and ERP systems.
