Lifetrucks NZ takes on Still Forklifts

Lifetrucks to handle the sales, servicing and parts for German manufacturer Still Forklifts

Liftrucks New Zealand has been appointed to handle the sales, servicing, and parts for German manufacturer, Still Forklifts. The appointment takes effect immediately and follows several months of discussions between the two parties, culminating in a plan for growth put forward by Liftrucks that clearly impressed the Still executives in Germany.

"We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to market and distribute this iconic brand, which already has a presence in the New Zealand market and boasts a great reputation globally, particularly in Europe," Liftrucks managing director, Paul Robson, says.

"Still Forklifts are now part of Liftrucks New Zealand family that already has in its stable the recently added Bendi articulated forklifts and Komatsu Forklifts. Once again, this gives us the chance to demonstrate the effectiveness of our sales and aftermarket support package," Paul says.

From IC to battery electric, Still has a wide range of forklift types for both indoor and outdoor applications. Of particular interest to New Zealand companies will be the range of electric forklifts, which have the option of being powered by either a wet cell or a lithium battery, which requires only one battery for multiple shifts due to effective interim charging.

High performance has a long tradition at Still. What the company founder, Hans Still, set in motion in 1920 has developed it into the leading supplier of materials handling equipment. The key to the company's success is its highly efficient products that have provided solutions for large and small operations.
