Counting down to Auckland Big Boys Toys 2016
Big Boys Toys returns to Auckland's ASB Showgrounds from 28 to 30 October 2016, with opening hours from 10am to 6pm each day.
Similar to previous years, this year’s event is said to be packed with what the organisers say are the ‘latest and greatest’ in products and services.
For 16 years Big Boys Toys has entertained thousands of people each year with a dynamic entertainment schedule, outstanding features, and the latest products and services from the automotive, lifestyle, and consumer electronics industries.
Supercars confirmed that the LaFerrari and the latest supercar from Ferrari – the Ferrari F12 TDF is included for this year.
Electronics features will include the latest in laptops, VR Googles, Robots and more.
Outside, the big diggers are back in the Auckland Excavator Operator Champs, and kids will have a variety of amusements rides and the chance to be motocross stars in the Yamaha Rev Zone.
The Milwaukee Action Arena will feature some of the world’s best extreme sports athletes for three days of crazy tricks and flips. Athletes include world FMX superstar Levi Sherwood – the only man in the world to have done a quad flip on a BMX – Jed Mildon, and US BMX star Kurtis Downs.
The Garage at Big Boys Toys will keep the hot rod fans happy with some of the country’s best examples, with interactive displays and the tools needed to create such machines.
The Automania Showcase will feature an array of vehicles ranging from race cars to street cars, D1NZ to super saloons and exotics to off-roaders.
Those in the Central North Island will have their own show at the Central Energy Trust Arena, Palmerston North, from 18 to 20 November 2016.
