Round-up of the best new releases that you should add to your reading list
TRUSTS 123
Janet Xuccoa
$39.99
Cheshire Publishing

For hundreds of years and possibly longer, Trusts have been used to protect property and assets. Most often, it’s protection from long-lost relatives or friends, who turn up from nowhere and try to get their mitts on assets intended for others who were more deserving.
The author gives some good, simple-to-understand tips on how a Trust can protect you and your immediate family, and why it’s important to ensure they are set up correctly. The book is a good first step before sitting down and talking
it all through with a legal advisor.

Steve Holmes delivers yet another well-researched and written read on some of New Zealand’s best domestic racing drivers from the last 40 years. Many of the names will only be recognised by avid motor racing fans, but for those who do remember them, some stirring memories will no doubt surface.
The interviews are accompanied by some excellent photos and the quality paper stock ensures the hardback-covered book will remain as a quality keepsake. Highly recommended.

Published on quality paper stock, this well-written account tells us of the clever subterfuge that was pulled off during World War II by different sides of the conflict. It covers the expected camouflaging techniques and also delves into decoys (both big and small), spies, double agents, and a host of other deceptive techniques carried out across the globe. This will slot nicely in any military buffs’ reading catalogue or make an excellent, long-lasting Christmas present.
