Lauren Keenan provides an easy-to-read and understand account of the New Zealand Wars between 1845-1872. Ranging from the top of the North Island to the tip of the South, she maps out the battles and provides information while posing some interesting questions. Along with this, there are location guides, so those with a keen interest can head along and visit the sites themselves. Well put together and illustrated.

If you’re a big-time Formula One fan, then this book is a must-have and as the title suggests, it features an A to Z of the F1 tracks now and how they were back in the day. Delivered as a hardcover and with large page format, it is chock-filled with high quality images and content. While the price won’t be the cheapest on the book stand, it will make the perfect present for a F1-addicted loved one.

Back on the trail of bad guys again, our resident hero Evan Smoak aka Orphan X, has got a beef with Tommy, his firearms supplier. Adding to Tommy’s list of problems, he promised a friend he’ll babysit some young rednecks who have got themselves in a heap of trouble. Now Evan is gunning for them, and did I mention there’s a bunch of assassins who are heading into town? It’ll confuse you, but in a good way. Stay tuned for a tense ending.
